Overview
SW-Ⅱ Series Swiss Type Turning Centers (SW-20Ⅱ / SW-32Ⅱ)
SW-Ⅱ Series targets high-precision production of small components where cycle time and repeatability depend on stable support and multi-operation capability in one setup. The series is positioned for complex parts by combining turning with milling/drilling capability via a complete tooling layout.
A core element is the hybrid guide bush concept, allowing operators to run with a guide bush for maximum support or switch to bushless mode when part geometry and material behavior make it more efficient. This flexibility helps balance stability, finish, and throughput across mixed part families.
SW-Ⅱ is offered in at least two primary size classes: SW-20Ⅱ for up to Ø20 mm machining diameter and SW-32Ⅱ for up to Ø32 mm, with per-chuck turning lengths specified for bush and bushless operation. This makes the lineup suitable for miniature shafts, pins, connectors, and precision fittings.
For production practicality, the platform supports strong clamping and a tooling system designed to cover front, cross, and rear operations in one process. An optional deep-hole drilling concept on the sub-spindle is highlighted for applications that require drilling depth without moving parts to a second operation.

Applications
General machining
Mixed prototype and production work across sizes; flexible envelopes and quick changeovers speed setups, reduce handling, and keep output consistent day to day.
Automotive
Tooling and production parts across the supply chain, from fixtures and dies to turned and milled components; repeatable referencing supports surface quality and tight tolerances.
Aeronautics
Precision structural parts, fixtures, and machined assemblies; probing and process control (where available) help keep flatness and bores in tolerance on long cycles.
Defense
Housings, carriers, and structural parts in high-strength alloys; stable machining conditions and verified datums deliver repeatable accuracy under heavy cuts.
