Overview
GTZ-1500 Series High Productivity Multi-axis Turning Centers
GTZ-1500 is designed for shops that need high output while machining complex parts that normally require multiple operations. The platform combines twin spindles, twin live-tool turrets, and twin Y axes so turning and milling features can be completed in a single setup.
The machine is built on a rigid true slant-bed concept and is positioned as a compact solution with productivity comparable to two turning and milling machines, helping reduce floor space while maintaining throughput.
Twin Y axes enable off-center milling, drilling, and tapping, supporting simultaneous multi-axis machining and improving flexibility for parts with flats, keyways, cross holes, and eccentric features. The oblique Y-axis structure is highlighted as a way to achieve large Y strokes within a small machine size.
For production variety, the series offers multiple bar diameters (Ø45, Ø51, Ø65) and corresponding spindle speed options, with the maximum spindle speed stated as up to 6,000 rpm for the Ø45 bar capacity configuration. Turret capacity is also positioned for flexibility, including driven tooling and higher tool counts via indexing strategy.
