GS-4000 Series
GS-4000 is a heavy-duty slant-bed turning center built for high metal removal and stable accuracy. Standard gear-head spindle power supports demanding roughing, while optional C-axis live tooling, Y-axis (±60 mm), and sub-spindle configurations enable milling, drilling, and tapping in fewer setups.
- Gear-head spindle power for confident heavy roughing
- Live tooling, C-axis, and Y-axis option for done-in-one
- Long-bed variants support turning lengths up to 3,045 mm

Overview
GS-4000 Series Maximum Performance Turning Centers
GS-4000 Series is designed for shops that need a maximum performance turning platform for large chuck work and long, demanding cycles. The series targets high rigidity, stable geometry, and consistent output under heavy cutting conditions.
A key contributor to productivity is the gear-head spindle concept paired with a heavy-duty construction approach. This combination is intended to deliver strong torque and reliable performance when roughing tough materials or removing significant stock.
For higher part completion rates, GS-4000 can be configured with live tooling and C-axis control to perform turning plus milling, drilling, and tapping in the same process. This reduces part transfers, shortens lead time, and helps protect accuracy that can be lost when moving parts between machines.
Optional Y-axis control adds flexibility for off-center drilling and higher-accuracy grooving, while an optional sub-spindle supports back-end machining and automated part transfer workflows. Multiple bed lengths are offered to match the required turning length and production layout.

Applications
General machining
Mixed prototype and production work across sizes; flexible envelopes and quick changeovers speed setups, reduce handling, and keep output consistent day to day.
Capital goods
Industrial equipment components from plates and frames to precision shafts and housings; scalable platforms and stable processes preserve accuracy over long runs.
Automotive
Tooling and production parts across the supply chain, from fixtures and dies to turned and milled components; repeatable referencing supports surface quality and tight tolerances.
Energy
Pump and valve components, compressor parts, and auxiliary housings; controlled cutting and chip/coolant management help protect tolerances, surface finish, and tool life.
Oil & Gas
Valve bodies, manifolds, housings, and high-integrity flanges; robust machining strategies and chip/coolant control help maintain tolerances in demanding alloys.
Wind energy
Drivetrain and auxiliary components including hubs, seats, flanges, and structural parts; rigid setups and stable processes sustain accuracy, finish, and tool life across long runs.
Railway
Frames, brackets, axlebox housings, and brake components; rigid machining and effective chip evacuation keep geometry and flatness consistent on large parts.
Defense
Housings, carriers, and structural parts in high-strength alloys; stable machining conditions and verified datums deliver repeatable accuracy under heavy cuts.
