Overview
GLS-150 Series High Speed CNC Turning Centers
The GLS-150 Series is a compact, high-speed CNC turning center designed for stable, repeatable production turning where cycle time and surface quality matter. With a 6″ chuck configuration and Ø51 mm bar capacity, it fits well in machining cells and high-mix production environments.
To support demanding workloads, GLS-150 provides solid capacity in a small footprint, including up to Ø360 mm max turning diameter, or Ø280 mm on M live-tooling models, and 500 mm max turning length. This makes it suitable for shafts, flanges, and general turned components within a compact envelope.
For speed and responsiveness, the platform reaches up to 6,000 rpm and uses high-precision linear guideways on the X and Z axes to support efficient movement and reduce non-cut time. The two-speed motor-driven spindle is designed to support both heavy cutting and precision machining.
On the productivity side, the turret configuration emphasizes fast, repeatable tool changes. A 12-station servo indexing turret supports short production cycles, while optional live tooling and C-axis capability can extend the machine from pure turning to done-in-one workflows.
Key Features – GLS-150 Series
Compact Production Footprint
An approximately 4.6 m² footprint supports efficient use in production cells and space-constrained workshops.
Two-Speed Spindle Performance
The motor-driven spindle reaches up to 6,000 rpm and supports both heavy cutting and precision machining.
High-Precision Linear Guideways
Linear guideways on the X and Z axes support efficient movement, precise control, and stable positioning.
Fast 12-Station Turret
The servo indexing turret provides 0.5-second opposing tool changes to support short production cycles.
